Huay Prakang temple is located on a hill around 9km away from downtown Chiang Rai city. It is surrounded by hill tribe villages. We will visit a Chinese-style Chedi that houses a large sandalwood Guanyin image. We will visit a fantastic vantage point that overlooks glorious Chiang Rai.
We will cycle to Mae Yao mountain areas on the dirt roads. The area has great views of bountiful rice fields and plantations. We can stop at any of these places that interest you.
Our next destination is Karen village and the elephant camp. We will eat lunch at a local restaurant and then continue cycling to the Alae-Ja hanging bridge. On the way, we will visit hill tribe villages along the way.
